Pager Posting 1

Good News! I'm on a plane in Atlanta heading home from work (love my pager!). Just got a message that we have our First Ruling in Taiwan! Estimating 4-6 weeks until we go to pick up Ian. More to follow after I land in Mobile...

- James

PS - For some reason it took more than 12 hours for this message to post, so I'm editing the date and time and adding a title. Hopefully it'll be more prompt during the trip to Taiwan (at least during the US portion of the trip!).

New Photos

If you read yesterday's post you know we were hoping for pictures. Here are some of the new ones we got today! Still no update on the court rulings, but hopefully soon!

Someone is sitting up a bit more!

Ian seems a bit too serious,
so for now he takes after Dad.
But Mom plans on putting a
great big spoiled smile on his face!

Just an Ordinary Update...

Nothing to report this time around. Just wanted to say hi to anyone who might be stopping by.

We have heard from two or three other couples who received their first District Court decision in about 4-5 weeks instead of 2-3 months (the official timeline estimate). That makes us hopeful that we'll have news this week or next. Still aiming to pick up our little guy in March or April.

Heather has been on the fence about traveling. She's not much on flying, especially halfway around the world and a 11-12 hour hop from LA to Taipei! [Oh, LA stands for Los Angeles, not Lower Alabama!] The trip from Mobile will take 24-26 hours, with probable stops in Atlanta (where else?), LA, then Taipei. But now she's decided to go barring any unforeseen problems. Besides, I don't think she can bear to have me hold Ian first!

We also tend to get new pictures around the beginning of the month, so I'll probably be posting some new ones pretty soon!

Stay tuned and thanks for visiting,

James
