Long Overdue Update
It's been way too long since I last wrote. Work has been busy and there were some big holidays too. But those are just excuses.
At the end of October, we completed our dossier and it was sent to Taiwan. We don't have an exact date, but it should have arrived around the first of November. Since then, waiting. Just waiting.
We have yet to hear of any court dates or decisions. Just waiting.
November brought lots of overtime at work to keep me busy, then Thanksgiving. Afterwards, the focus was Christmas and traveling to Missouri to see my family there. Now the new year has come, and we're simply waiting. (Can you guess we're tired of waiting?!?!?)
Our wait is certainly not out of the ordinary in length or frustration. God will deliver Ian to us when the time is right.
Oh, I almost forgot. We found out last month that Ian has a foster sister. His foster parents are also caring for a little girl, about the same age, who will be joining a family in the Boston area when her adoption is complete.
Now I'll just say goodbye and share a few pictures:
Continued thanks for all your prayers and support!
James, Heather and Anna
P.S. Some have inquired about Ian's safety after the horrible tsunami in Asia. Thankfully, Ian is in Taiwan and not Thailand. Taiwan was not affected. Keep them all in your prayers as well.

Anna with Ian's picture. She's excited to be the "Big Sister"!

While Christmas shopping, Heather came across a Cabbage Patch Doll of an Asian boy. She couldn't help getting it, and when she took the baseball cap off his head, his hair just stood up. Remind you of anyone? :)
---
Ian, and you can see the hair continues to grow!
We received this one today, taken just before the turn of the year.
